Cisco AnyConnect: What does it mean?
If you’ve never heard of it before, you may be wondering what AnyConnect is. The short answer is that it’s a client security tool that allows Macs to connect to an organization’s (usually the company they work for) VPN and then access the company networks. AnyConnect, which is now a very popular tool for businesses to give employees the ability to connect to a company’s VPN and access other assets, such as content management systems or shared drives.
Why should AnyConnect be uninstalled?
As with any application, it’s good practice to uninstall it when you no longer need it. As the application has not been updated, this frees up space.

To manually uninstall AnyConnect, there are two components. First, you need to delete the Application Binary (the file found in your Applications folder). Second, you need to delete all files that are scattered around your startup disk.
