You can make your hair look longer by putting the ears back in.

Step 2 – Draw in the outline of the head

You might find the next steps a bit difficult so be sure to check out the reference image.
For these next steps, I would recommend using a light pencil to draw first and then go over it in pen once you’re happy with how it looks.
This step will be completed by drawing the forehead, open mouth, and chin for the tiger. A line is drawn to connect the inner ear.

Step 3 – Add in a face for your tiger

After you have drawn your head, the next step is to begin drawing the face. It is a tricky step so you will need to work one element at a time.
For a fierce, powerful look for your tiger’s eyes, make sure you have some circles in the curves.
You can then use a round nose shape and give your tiger a large open mouth. After the jaw is drawn out, sharp teeth will be needed by your tiger.
Again, I recommend using a pencil to do this step. Then you can finish the job with a pen.
If you follow the picture closely and take your time with it, I know you’ll do a great job of it!

Step 4 – Start to draw in the body

Once you’ve drawn the face and head of the tigers, it is time to draw the body. As you can see in the image, your tiger should be straight with a wide shoulder.
To make the chest look furry, draw in an oval-shaped shape with jagged edges.

Step 5 – Next, let’s draw in some legs and a tail

The tiger drawing you have been working on is beginning to come together. The front leg that’s closest to us will be quite straight, ending in some curved paws.
Then, draw a slight curve for your stomach. Next draw a more round back leg. You can also draw a straight tail that curves at the end.

Step 6 – Now, we will draw in the back legs of the tiger

These next steps should not be difficult if you have the legs that were drawn in the previous step.
You can draw the legs on either side, but not the one you just drew.
The reference picture will show you how it should look, and once you’re happy with how it looks, you can move on to the final steps.

Step 7 – Give your tiger some stripes

You’ve almost reached the end of this guide on how toDraw a tiger! A tiger wouldn’t be a tiger without stripes, however, so we shall draw some in for this step.
It may look complicated when you look at the reference image, but it isn’t as hard as it may look. It is possible to draw stripes by using curved lines throughout the tiger.
You can add in stripes as you wish, however, and you shouldn’t be too concerned with replicating the image exactly. This step is open to creativity. You may draw the stripes however you like.

Step 8 – Now finish it off with some color

You should feel proud that you’ve drawn your entire tiger. There were so many details to consider. You are done drawing the tiger, but you have to color it in!
You should let your imagination flow, and show off with brilliant colors.
Bright orange, white and black are the most common colors for Tigers. Sticking to these colours will give your drawings a beautiful finish.
That’s one way to go about it, but you could also get creative and use your own favorite colors for a more stylized, colorful tiger!
